Swan Pilates & Play
After School Club

Swan Pilates Schools Programme brings a tailored movement curriculum to school-aged children and adolescents. Rooted in Pilates principles of strength, balance, alignment and focus, sessions are inclusive, accessible and energetic, helping pupils build confidence in movement from an early age.

The early programme (ages 4–8) blends physical development with imagination, confidence and fun. Through creative Pilates-inspired activities, teamwork and games, children develop the fundamental motor skills needed for sport, physical literacy and learning through movement.

As pupils grow, the programme evolves into a more structured Pilates-based approach that supports strength, posture and movement education through the senior school years.

Swan Pilates Schools Programme supports every child from those who love sport to those who benefit from a gentler, confidence-building pathway into movement.

About your Instructor

Rebecca Swan

As a mother of two young children (ages 4 and 6), I am passionate about helping children build a positive, confident relationship with movement from an early age. My own journey into Pilates began with wanting to support my children’s development and now I am committed to offering the same encouragement, strength-building and wellbeing-focused approach to others.

After qualifying as a Level 3 Pilates Instructor (Mat and Reformer) and Level 2 PT I set up a Pilates studio in Eton. For the last 5 years I have taught group sessions to adults, teenagers and little children. Most recently I developed the Pilates & Play programme for school children 4 - 11 years old and seniors 11 - 18 years old.

I  am currently completing my Level 4 Advanced Pilates and Exercise Therapy certification, specialising in children, teenagers, and rehabilitation.
